For our Canine Friends

Runs
Our resort is fully heated as well as air-conditioned and is kept at a comfortable temperature year round. We feature large indoor runs that have access to outdoor runs. Our runs are lined with DryDec, a rubber-like material that adds comfort and mobility to our guests' accommodations. We have found that it is great for our guests that suffer from arthritis or are recovering from a surgery or injury as it eliminates slipping and provides traction when getting up from a comfortable nap. Our occupied runs are also equipped with comfortable lamb's wool bedding and even "hammock" beds, which seem to be a big hit.

Quiet Room
In order to accommodate all of our guests' diverse needs, we have opened a second boarding area on the other end of our kennel, which we call the "Quiet Room." This area, which is great for our small or elderly guests who enjoy a more quiet and cozy atmosphere, has soothing music playing and features hanging plants and throw rugs. Although the "Quiet Room's" accommodations are smaller than in our runs, our guests that occupy the area receive adequate exercise in the comfort of their own personal play area equipped with a ramp rather than a step, which is easier on our smaller friends. We have found that many of our guests do very well in the "Quiet Room" because, overall, there is less excitement and they enjoy being in their very own "living room" setting.

Our Play Yards
On site, our resort has three separate, safely enclosed, exercise facilities for our guests' enjoyment. Eachguest gets exercised individually several times a day-more or less depending on his or her activity level. Our guests' day begins about 6 in the morning and we keep them active throughout the day to ensure they have no time to get bored or homesick while staying with us. Because we feel so strongly that our guests need this type of activity and actually enjoy their time at the resort more if they are able to be active, all of our exercise, playtime and walks are offered at no extra charge to our guests (their parents that is!).

Yappy Hour
Included in our guests' busy, fun-filled day is what we call "Yappy Hour," a time when our guests can take a leisurely stroll, or a romp in the exercise area, and go back to their accommodations to find a tasty treat, such as FrostiPaws or homemade "cookies" waiting for them. For some reason, our guests seem to learn this part of the day's routine the quickest!

Our Extra Play Yard/Club Mutt
In addition to our inclusive exercise areas, we recently made the addition of "Club Mutt" to our resort. "Club Mutt" is a 100x100 ft. enclosed play yard that features state-of-the-art agility and playground equipment. "Club Mutt" also has Frisbees, balls and other toys for our guests to play with. And to top it all off, unlike our other play areas, in "Club Mutt" we encourage group playtime so our guests can socialize with one another. All playtime at "Club Mutt" is supervised and individual's temperaments are tested before group time is allowed. Playtime at "Club Mutt" is not included in regular boarding fees.

Walks
As if we did not keep our guests active enough with all of their playtime, we go ahead and take each guest for a daily stroll around the scenic property. We find that our staff enjoys this part of the day just as much as our guests because it offers us a time to spend one-on-one time with each guest. In fact, knowing that our guests are not just pets, but family members, we understand how important human companionship is to them. Although we cannot take the place of their family, we are pretty good at comforting our guests while they are a way from home.

Feeding
The resort offers a delectable cuisine for both breakfast and dinner, which our guests just rave about (mealtime is one of the less quiet times around the resort)! Our menu consists of Precise, an all-natural dry diet that comes in a general foundation formula, a light formula and a lamb and rice formula. In addition to Precise, we keep our kitchen stocked with canned food for our guests that like a little variety in their diet. We also keep Hill's ID formula in stock in case we get the rare guest with an upset stomach and peanut butter and cream cheese for all our guests that have a hard time swallowing their medications.

Medical
All of our guests are required to be up-to-date with the following vaccinations: Rabies, Bordetella and Distemper. We also recommend that all of our guests be on some type of flea treatment to prevent the spread of fleas and ticks throughout our resort. We do not require your pet to receive a flea treatment upon arrival, unless necessary. While your pet is in our care, we keep a list of contact numbers and their veterinarian's phone number on hand. We do work closely with all of the area's veterinarians and do not hesitate to ask their advice about your pet's well being. If necessary, we will drive your pet to his veterinarian at no cost to you. We keep a first-aid kit on site, and owner, Kay Clear, is certified in Pet CPR. We take every precaution necessary to ensure your pet is safe, happy and healthy while residing at out resort.

Personalized Attention
We recognize that each and every guest that stays at our resort is an individual with different needs. Therefore, we specialize in giving your pet the personalized attention he deserves. Not a day goes by that one of our guests does not get one-on-one quality time with at least one of our staff members. Furthermore, we do not have one rule that goes for everyone when caring for our guests. We get to know our guests so we can better serve them while staying at our resort. The personal attention that we give is what makes us a "resort" and not just a kennel.
