Grooming: What kind of resort would we be if we did not have a beauty salon on site? That's right, in addition to Kevertin Pet Resort's wonderful boarding facilities and activities, we also have an excellent salon that is run directly by owner, Kay Clear, a professional pet groomer with over 25 years experience. We specialize in the grooming of cats and dogs of all breeds. No pet is too big or too small and there is no requested clip we can't handle. In addition to the care and experience of our groomers, our salon features only the best and up-to-date equipment. Traveling to Hershey's Annual Groom Expo every year for the past seven years as ensured that Kay stays current with all of the latest grooming techniques and procedures. Hydro Surge: Our grooming salon features the Hydro Surge bathing system, a unique system that not only cleans your pet but also massages your pet's skin and removes all dirt and dander from your pet's skin and coat. This system, along with our large line of shampoo and conditioning products, is sure to make your pet the cleanest he can be.

Shampoos and Conditioners: We feature a large line of shampoo and conditioning products that will suit any customer and make him absolutely stunning. We have fragrant shampoos, medicated shampoos, soothing shampoos, whitening shampoos, conditioning and detangling shampoos and of course flea and tick shampoos. We also have a large line of conditioners and Best Shot products that will ensure that your pet's coat is in the best possible condition that it can be.

Air Force Dryer: Once your pet is finished with his massaging bath, he gets to experience our quiet air dryer. This dryer quickly, quietly and safely dries your pet with cool air. The force of the dryer is just enough to get rid of any hair, dirt and dander that may have been loosened by our Hydro Surge system, which guarantees your pet will not take anything home but a wonderful new look. In addition to our force air dryer we do feature a self-drying system for our clients who may be more timid and unwilling to stand for our air dryer. This self dryer is a large enclosed crate that has cool air gently blowing into it, drying your pet without him even knowing it. The self dryer does use cool air, but also runs on a timer to ensure that our clients will never get too hot.

Clipper Vac: We also feature the wonderful Clipper Vac system. The Clipper Vac is a vacuuming system that attaches to the clipper with a long flexible hose. As your pet is clipped, his fur is immediately sucked into the hose. Not only does this make for a cleaner, smoother clip, it reduces the amount of pet hair on the floor and circulating throughout the grooming shop, keeping the salon clean and comfortable while eliminating the possible spread of fleas.

Furminator: The newest addition to our grooming salon that Kay purchased at the 2003 Groom Expo is the Furminator. The Furminator is a grooming procedure that reduces shedding without clipping. Air purifier and Equipment Sterilizer: Above anything comes your pet's health and safety while he is a client at our salon. For this reason, we have installed an air purifying system that continuously cleans the air and rids it of odors, molds, mildew and bacteria. In addition to clean air being important in a grooming salon, clean instruments are essential. In order to ensure the cleanliness of our instruments we use a machine that sterilizes the instruments with an ultra-violet light.
