Now that you know a little bit about Kevertin Pet Resort's facility and features, it is time to be introduced to those that make everything work around here, our staff.

Owner and Operator, Kay Clear, has been a professional in the animal field for over 25 years. Her career began with the opening of her pet store, The VIP Shop . When she began to raise a family, however, she sold her pet store. With the love of animals still in her blood and the desire to work at home, Kay took up grooming, which she had studied back in Pennsylvania before opening her shop, and slowly built an amazing grooming business known as Kevertin Pet Salon.

Years later, with her kids grown, Kay put her entrepreneurial skills to work yet again and took her business further, opening Kevertin Pet Resort with partner Patty Fox. Although Patty is no longer a partner, she is far from a stranger to Kevertin Pet Resort.

Kay and her staff continue to learn about their field and all of its recent progresses, and our groomers find the annual Groom Expo, in addition to every other seminar, course or conference they attend throughout the year to be beneficial to their skills as animal professionals. Kay is a certified Pet Technician through the ABKA and is certified in animal CPR. Because she loves what she does and cares for her customers as they are her own she strives to offer only the best through her resort and salon. In doing this, she employees only those that hold the same values in care taking as she has. Each of her employees is either Pet Tech certified or working towards that goal and is excellent in taking care of our guests.
